With over 30 years of experience in Direct Marketing, Harold has made a career out of helping clients raise their expectations, along with their direct mail and interactive response levels. In prior years, he worked on both the client side and the agency side for such accounts as Book-of-the-Month Club, HBO, and Time-Life Books before starting THECOOPERGROUP with his brother in 1984. In 2001, Harold was responsible for winning a piece of American Express, and, since then, he has helped American Express with several major wins, including beating several longstanding controls by more than 80%.

Harold likes to wear many hats, from Creative Director to Marketing Strategist to New Business. He has served on numerous boards, including the Caples Board, and he's also a longtime contributor to the DMA.
Prior to co-founding THECOOPERGROUP, Tom coordinated national print and broadcast campaigns for such clients as PNC Bank, Arthur Treacher's, and Schott Optical Glass and directed account services for national clients like Bell Atlantic (now Verizon) and Harrah's Casino. In 1984, he helped Harold found THECOOPERGROUP. In 1987, Tom grew the Columbia House account from a single effective direct mail test to one of the agency's key accounts for over 15 years. In 2008, Tom helped to bring AXA Equitable on board and has been crucial to that account's steady growth.

Tom likes to work side by side with key clients as Account Supervisor. He enjoys helping smaller accounts take advantage of big client experiences.
Fernando comes with a broad agency background in account management. Working at Wunderman and Hill Holiday, Fernando handled a variety of accounts including Sony, IBM, Citibank, and Verizon Wireless. In four years at THECOOPERGROUP, Fernando has teamed up with Harold and been pivotal in the growth of the American Express account. In 2005, Fernando led the team responsible for winning Deutsche Bank.

Fernando has limitless energy and strives to ensure that all of our clients are happy and that the work exceeds everyone's expectations.
